Overdose's Godmode and Never Wanted are useful for completing missions and heists more easily, surviving any encounter without needing body armor, but the menu doesn't include direct money deposit or passive income features. Menus with dedicated protection features like Stand include specific session filters that detect and kick modders or protect against common griefing scripts. If protection against other malicious mod menu users in public lobbies is a priority, Stand is the more capable tool for that use case. Overdose is more appropriate for solo or private session play where the primary goal is personal enjoyment rather than competing against other menu users.

GTA Online uses Rockstar's proprietary anti-cheat alongside VAC (through Steam). Overdose is maintained to work within the current anti-cheat environment. Rockstar's detection approach for mod menus relies heavily on unusual game state changes visible server-side (stat modifications, impossible movement, economy spikes) rather than purely technical scanning. For lower detection risk, use Overdose in invite-only lobbies or solo sessions rather than public servers where Rockstar has more monitoring coverage from player reports.

Overdose is maintained to stay compatible with GTA V's periodic updates. Rockstar patches GTA Online every 6-8 weeks with new content, vehicle adds, and occasionally title updates that change game memory layouts.
