How the words on this site get written, checked, dated and corrected. Short version: drafted with AI assistance, reviewed and owned by a human, sourced to official pages, and fixed publicly when wrong.

What this policy covers
The editorial library: the anti-cheat guides, the explainers on the free tools, the glossary, the comparison pages and the category introductions. Product listings are commercial pages for products this store sells; they follow the same honesty rules, and the meaning of the "Undetected" label on them is defined in Terms, Section 6.
Who is accountable
GCS Cheats, the store operator, is the publisher of record and answers for every page on this site. There are no guest posts, no sponsored placements and no third-party content. There are also no named staff authors; rather than invent bylines, attribution on this site is to the organization, and this policy is the standing description of how that organization works. More about who we are is on the About page.
How content is produced, including AI
Drafts are produced with the help of AI writing tools. A human operator directs the work, edits it, checks it against the sources below and approves every page before it goes live; nothing on this site is published unreviewed.
Every page also lives in version control and must pass an automated verification suite before release - accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AAA), structured-data validity, link integrity and readability checks all gate every single publish. A page that fails any of them does not ship.
Sourcing
Guides about anti-cheat systems cite the vendor's official pages; the citations are listed in each guide's visible Sources section and in its markup, and we link out to those authorities directly. Structured facts (kernel level, ban type, detection rating) come from one shared database, so the guide text and the reference tables cannot silently disagree.
Detection ratings and build recommendations are our own editorial judgment, formed from running this store since 2022. They are clearly-labelled opinion, not vendor fact and not a guarantee - the guides say so on the page.
Dates and freshness
Guides carry a visible "Last reviewed" date that matches the date in their markup. That date changes only when the content substantively changes; it is never bumped cosmetically to look fresh. Catalog data (prices, availability, product counts) regenerates from the live catalog every time the site is rebuilt.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, tell us: email contact@gcscheats.com or message us on Discord (opens in a new tab). When a factual error is confirmed we correct the page and update its review date. Anti-cheat behaviour shifts constantly, so error reports from players are genuinely useful and get read.
Independence and advertising
Our editorial content exists to help you choose between products this store sells - that is its purpose and we say so plainly rather than pretending to be a neutral magazine. Within that, the guides tell you when a game is a bad idea to cheat in, and when a cheaper option or no purchase at all is the sensible call.
There is no third-party advertising, no affiliate linking, no sponsored content and no paid placement anywhere on this site. There are also no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind - see the Privacy Policy.
