Official Bohemia servers run full BattlEye enforcement and Bohemia monitors for unusual behavioral patterns - perfect survival rates, killing every player across a server in a session, looting every stash in a grid pattern. Admin spectating after a player report is the most common practical detection risk. Behavioral guidelines: don't engage every player you locate - legitimate survivors miss some players and avoid others. Spread stash looting across multiple sessions rather than emptying every stash in the same area in one run. Let some players pass without engaging when they're not near your position - 'not knowing they were there' is normal survivor behavior. On community servers with BattlEye disabled, the primary risk is admin monitoring, which requires similar behavioral discretion.

Klar's player ESP includes vehicle occupancy state - when a player is in a vehicle, the ESP shows their entity linked to the vehicle entity with the vehicle type displayed. This is valuable for threat assessment: a player in a car is vulnerable to gunfire from specific angles and can be easily tracked across terrain by following the vehicle marker, but they're also faster and can disengage quickly. Knowing an approaching entity is inside a car versus approaching on foot changes your tactical response - engage from a position where you can stop the vehicle versus one where you simply need to intercept the player. Vehicle type is shown (car, truck, helicopter) giving additional context about their mobility and cargo capacity.

Klar's loot ESP reads entity spawn data from DayZ's memory including helicopter crash sites and vehicle spawn locations. On vanilla DayZ maps (Chernarus, Livonia), helicopter crashes are dynamic spawn events that the ESP detects when they're active in memory - typically within render range as you approach the area. On popular modded maps that add additional helicopter spawns, the same entity reading applies since the spawn entity type is consistent regardless of map. The ESP distance setting determines how far out helicopter crash sites appear in the overlay. BattlEye enforcement is consistent across all official servers regardless of population. On high-pop servers, more players means more potential reporters - a player you kill who loses significant gear is more motivated to immediately report and potentially attract admin attention. On low-pop official servers, the same BattlEye protection exists but fewer players means fewer reports. Community servers with BattlEye disabled have no engine anti-cheat regardless of population. Admin activity level is the key variable on community servers - small tight-knit community servers often have more active admins than large servers where monitoring is automated. The lowest-risk environment is community servers with BattlEye disabled on servers without active admin oversight.
