Vanity is an internal CS2 cheat known for achieving a strong balance between performance and price, it's positioned as a premium-feature tool accessible at a mid-tier cost. Its distinguishing features are the highly customizable Legitbot with dynamic smoothing, an RCS system that produces genuinely human-looking spray patterns, and Backtrack support (the ability to hit enemies at slightly earlier timeline positions, which is particularly useful in high-latency situations). Vanity is particularly popular among players who want internal cheat accuracy without paying top-tier HvH software prices.

Backtrack allows the aimbot to fire at a target's position from a brief moment in the past (typically 100-200ms back in game time) rather than their current position. This compensates for network latency, in CS2, by the time your shot reaches the server, a moving target may have already moved out of where they appeared to be on your screen. Backtrack effectively lets you hit targets at the position you saw them, even though the server has already registered them as having moved. This is most impactful in high-ping environments or when targets are doing rapid movements like peeking and retreating. Enabled conservatively (small time window), it looks like excellent timing. At maximum values it's more aggressive and better suited to dedicated accounts.

Vanity is an internal cheat. It injects into the CS2 process. This provides the data access precision needed for features like Backtrack and accurate hitbox targeting, but places it within the scope that VAC scans. Vanity has maintained good detection records with active development, but internal cheats are inherently more exposed than external alternatives. For main accounts you're deeply invested in, the risk calculus is different than for dedicated cheat accounts, internal cheats provide better raw performance at the cost of higher technical detection exposure. Vanity's value proposition is best realized on accounts used primarily for performance-focused ranked play where that trade-off makes sense.

Vanity's RCS compensates for weapon recoil by applying precise counter-mouse-movement as you fire, keeping your crosshair on target through a spray. The system is configurable by percentage (50% corrects half the recoil, 100% fully eliminates it) and can be set differently for standing versus crouching positions, since CS2's recoil behaves slightly differently between stances. At 70-85%, the spray looks like an exceptionally skilled player who has mastered the AK or M4 pattern, realistic but impressive. Combined with Vanity's smoothed aimbot, this produces consistent mid-to-long range rifle accuracy that's hard to distinguish from genuine mechanical skill.

The first is the dynamic RCS and aim smoothing system: at configured values below 100% RCS and moderate smoothing, your spray and aim patterns fall within the statistical range achievable by a highly skilled human player, which means Overwatch investigators reviewing your demos see performance that looks like mastery rather than software. The second layer is its Triggerbot design with seeded shot timing and Minimum Damage threshold, these prevent the two most easily flagged kill patterns in Overwatch review: shots fired at impossible reaction speeds and shots fired into smoke or while blinded. Combined, Vanity's behavioral profile is designed to pass a skilled Overwatch reviewer's scrutiny when configured correctly, not just fool automated statistical checks.

Deathmatch is the ideal environment for configuration testing before taking settings into ranked. In deathmatch, anti-cheat scrutiny is lighter, the pace is faster so you see more gunfights per session, and a poor setting choice (aimbot FOV too wide, RCS too high) has no rank consequence. Spend your first 2-3 sessions in deathmatch specifically to calibrate Backtrack timing, RCS percentage, and aimbot smoothness values until they feel natural to play with. Once you can maintain performance that doesn't feel artificially obvious in deathmatch (not insta-locking every kill, allowing some natural-feeling misses) carry those settings into Premier. The behavioral discipline required for long-term Premier use is also easier to develop in deathmatch where the stakes are lower.
