Bodycam Anti-Cheat
No anti-cheat yet: Reissad Studio bans reported cheaters by hand through Steam game bans, and says Easy Anti-Cheat arrives with v0.9 on 13 November 2026.
In plain EnglishThis page explains the anti-cheat that protects Bodycam - the system that tries to catch and ban cheaters. It covers how strict that system is and how cheats try to stay hidden from it. No cheat is ever 100% safe, so always check a product's status before you buy. Bodycam uses Reissad Studio enforcement, which is not a named client anti-cheat: its publisher has not said that any anti-cheat runs on your PC. Caught cheaters get a game ban on the account, and our database rates its detection strength low. The guide below covers how it detects, what a ban really costs and what kind of build survives. What anti-cheat does Bodycam use?
Bodycam is Reissad Studio’s early-access shooter, played through a body camera with no crosshair, no ammo counter and no HUD. As of 1 November 2026 it runs no anti-cheat. Its Steam page lists none, and the studio’s own posts describe one only as coming.
That is about to change. Reissad Studio says Easy Anti-Cheat arrives with update 0.9 on Friday 13 November 2026. Until then, cheaters are caught through player reports and banned by hand, with the bans applied through Steam. With no anti-cheat on your PC, nothing in Bodycam scans for cheat software today. Since the September 2026 update, the studio says health, damage and inventory are checked with strict server-side authority. That makes a cheat that simply edits those numbers on your own PC far less useful. The rest is down to people. Reissad Studio asks players to report suspicious activity directly to its team. In 2024 it said a cheating report needs proof and the player’s Steam profile, or it cannot act on it. Bodycam has supported Steam game bans since June 2024. Valve applies a game ban, but the developer alone decides it. It covers only that one game, it stops online play but not the game itself, and it shows on your Steam profile only when it is permanent. The studio bans for exploits as well as cheats. In September 2026 it found a way for a session host to crash other players’ games, banned the players it caught using it and patched it the same day. It has not said that it bans hardware. Valve says an appeal against a game ban goes to the developer. We rate Bodycam "Low" on client detection, because today there is no client detection to rate. A ban depends on someone reporting you and the studio checking the evidence. Expect that to change once Easy Anti-Cheat ships with v0.9 on 13 November 2026. Reissad Studio says it will keep a close eye on the anti-cheat after release and keep improving it, and this rating will be reviewed once it is live. Bodycam hides information on purpose: no crosshair, no ammo counter, no HUD. That is why ESP gives back more here than in most shooters, and why smooth aim help matters when there is nothing on screen to line up with. Today the players are the detection, so a report with a clip is all it takes. Keep aim help subtle, and keep features that change the match itself, such as spawners, for private games you host. From 13 November, check the product status before every session. The Bodycam builds we keep current are below. One Bodycam build is on sale right now, listed by how each one runs according to its own description. Official pages for the systems this guide describes.
